Reserve What’s Hard to Get

One of the simplest ways to improve a trip:

Reserve what’s hard to get.
Leave space around what isn’t.

There are things that are limited, special, bucket-list that are driving the why. Make sure that’s at the core.

Book ahead:

  • restaurants worth traveling for

  • small museums with timed entry

  • drivers and guides in peak season

  • national parks, safari lodges

  • coastal hotels in summer

Leave flexibility for:

  • wandering

  • shopping

  • cafés

  • unexpected detours

The goal isn’t structure. It’s protecting the parts of the trip you’d be disappointed to miss. I always start with my musts because at times places might be closed on certain days, limited entries, or need to pull some strings. Let’s pull those first and the rest will fall into place.
